How to Make the Perfect Bloody Mary Gift Basket

Got someone in your life that’s hard to get a gift for? Want to gift something they’ll actually use? A Bloody Mary Gift Basket is your answer!

Step One: Pick Your Spirit!

The most important part of your Bloody Mary Basket will be picking the perfect spirit! If you’re looking for more of a Garden Bloody, try a Cucumber Vodka or a Honey Dill Vodka. Does your friend like a bit of spice? Try a Jalapeño Vodka or a Horseradish Vodka. Going for something a little more classic? Check out the Bacon Vodka or the Vertueux Vodka. Pro-tip: Get a couple 375ml bottles to give them a little freedom to mix and match!

Step Two: Gather Your Ingredients!

Pick your ingredients based not only on what you want in your Bloody Mary itself, but also what you want to use as a garnish! You can get as crazy as you want here - some of our favorite Bloody Marys have an entire brunch on top of them!

We recommend picking your Bloody mix first. We love Zing Zang, and use that for our Bloody Marys, even in our Tasting Room!

Once you have your mix, getting a hot sauce to add a little spice is the move. Grab yourself your favorite local hot sauce, or just use Tabasco or Sriracha (or both)! Don’t forget to buy some worcestershire sauce, too!

Now’s the time to think of those garnishes. Our favorite garnishes are pickles, peppers, and beef jerky, but this is a choose your own adventure. We recommend anything pickled: pickled okra, pickled beans, pickled carrots, you name it. The name of the game for these garnishes is anything that will keep well, so your recipient can enjoy their basket for as long as possible!

One of our favorite things to add to our Bloody Mary baskets is celery salt, for inside your Bloody, but also as a delicious rim so you can feel as fancy as you do when you’re out ordering one at your favorite distillery ;).

Last step is to include a couple pint glasses so they can enjoy the Bloodys with a friend!

Combine all your ingredients into a cute basket, grab some cellophane wrap from the dollar store, add some paper shred, and then use a hair dryer to heat it for stability!
